Collapse of Cultural & Creative Industry
The spread of Coronavirus had had a negative economic impact on the cultural and creative industries. The entire sector seems to be close to collapse as all festivals, fairs and concerts have been cancelled, clubs and theatres were forced to close. Not only organisers are affected, but also agencies and numerous freelancers in performing arts, film and music. Cultural and creative sectors are among the most affected by the current crisis, with jobs at risk ranging from 0.8 to 5.5% of employment.
